AKAX® Ca+Mg has been specially formulated to prevent and make up for calcium and magnesium deficiencies.
Calcium deficiency causes blossom-end rot in tomatoes, peppers and cucurbits; tipburn in lettuces, celery, cabbage and strawberries; bitter pit in apples; and cracking in mangoes, cherries and plums.
Magnesium deficiency causes interveinal chlorosis, necrotic tissue that is orange, red or brown, yellowing at the leaf edges and premature leaf senescence.
AKAX® Ca+Mg is absorbed through the leaves and quickly transported to the plant’s growth areas, reducing typical symptoms of nutrient deficiency, boosting growth and improving crop quality.

Application
Horticultural and field crops:
- Foliar application: 3-6 mL/L
- Localised or drip irrigation: 10-15 L/ha
Fruit trees:
- Foliar application: 5-10 mL/L
- Localised or drip irrigation: 15-20 L/ha
Apply 2 to 4 times during the crop cycle, depending on calcium and magnesium needs. Magnesium plays a key role in flowering, so it should be applied beforehand. In fruit trees, it should be applied between fruit set and harvest, before symptoms appear.
